Barmouth is 12 miles with beaches and pleasure boat trips and Porthmadog where you can pick up the Ffestioniog and Welsh Highland railways, as well as visit the famous Portmerion village. For fishing enthusiasts, Lake Trawsfynydd , the Rivers Mawddach and Wnions, and Llyn Cynwch are all close by. Also within easy driving distance are Harlech with its castle and the renowned golf course at St Davids. Whilst en route to Llanberris and Snowdon, a stop off at Betwsy-y-Coed to take in the Swallow Falls and quaint shops is a must. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 0.3 miles.
