Quetta was once a quarryman’s cottage complete with crog loft (a loft area used for sleeping and generally the part furthest from the cooking hearth) but is now a tranquil countryside retreat affording stunning views. Quetta sits within a terrace of similar terraced properties built to provide accommodation for workers at the local slate factory and situated approximately one thousand feet above sea level in an area characterized by a spectacular outlook over the surrounding hills and mountains. This compact yet snug property boasts a number of original features such as a high beamed ceiling and an attractive slate open fireplace.  The crog loft is accessed via a miniature staircase. There is restricted height at this point and the loft area is not suitable for young children due to very low bannisters on the landing with a drop below.
