Close to the village shop and pub, this cosy cottage is perfect for couples who want a relaxing break in the heart of North Wales Denbighshire. The cottage is an ideal base for those who love walking as there are lots of routes and trails in and around the area. Hiraethog Forest, which is within a couple of miles of the cottage, offers some lovely walks as well as being great for cycling, horse riding and bird watching. Forest wildlife includes deer, otters and red squirrels. Whilst there is a pub and small village shop in Cyffylliog, a wider range of ameneties can be found in either Ruthin, 4 miles, or Denbigh, 6 miles. Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia are within a 45-minute drive and Llangollen, whose many attractions include the steam railway, Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen Wharf and horse drawn boats is reachable by car in under 40 minutes. Other places of interest within easy driving distance include Erdigg, 24 miles, Chirk Castle, 26 miles and Bodnant Gardens, 32 miles. If you fancy a more coastal landscape, the charming Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is just 30 miles.
