There's so much to discover right on our doorstep and the beauty of a cottage holiday is that it gives you the complete freedom to seek out and sample the best local food, shopping and attractions. This summer, we've been asking cottages4you customers to recommend their own hidden gems, things off the beaten track that have made their UK holiday truly memorable. For some customers this meant a secluded country pub, for others it was a lake cruise or a little known historic garden. We had some outstanding suggestions and we've

now created a map showcasing the best of rural Britain, which anyone can use to make the most of their next UK cottage holiday.
And, of course, we'll add any more good ideas our customers recommend.
The map is an original record of undiscovered gems, along with some familiar favourites. Use this collection of real holiday experiences to make your next British cottage holiday the best you've ever had.
