These five holiday cottages (TH3 - TH7) are situated in their own tree-lined meadow just minutes from the village centre. The village of Goonhavern is under 10 minutes from the main A30 making it the ideal base to explore and discover the charms of the Cornish coast and countryside. The holiday cottages all have shared use of a barbecue, patio area and children’s adventure playground.
The world famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are easily reached. A visit to the county town of Bodmin which lies on the western edge of Bodmin Moor is well worth a trip. Just ten miles in diameter, Bodmin Moor is a wilderness on a small scale, with scattered ancient remains and tors all waiting to be explored. The surfing beaches of Perranporth and Newquay are within 5 miles and there are plenty of hidden coves and peaceful beaches to be found where children can delight in the pleasures of rock-pooling. For keen fishermen there are 3 coarse fishing lakes to be found within a mile from the property. The fishing village of Padstow with its quaint harbour and many restaurants is easily accessible for a day trip and the cathedral city of Truro is within 6 miles. Horse riding, cycling and golf are all available locally. Pub 500 yards.
