The lodge comes with fishing rights for the loch, famous for brown trout and pike, and it is only a short stroll down to the lochside where you can fish from the bank or launch a boat on the slipway. Alternatively you can hire a boat locally to explore the loch or relax and take the steamboat in the summer months from Loch Awe village. Glendale Lodge is only a half mile walk to the local hotel which has a pub and restaurant.
