Sunrise Cottage, as the name suggests, benefits from the morning light. Guests can watch the sunrise over Loch Caroy and the Cuillin Mountains, which light up the whole glen. The cottage, located on a working croft with cows and sheep, has been sympathetically renovated keeping many of the original features, offering home from home comforts. Situated within this peaceful, scattered crofting community, the area is home to a variety of wildlife, including eagles, resident hares, red deer, otters and so much more. There are many places of historic interest close by, such as Dunvegan Castle, coral beaches, Dun Beag Broch and Feorlig Chambered Cairns, which is a 2-minute walk from the cottage. It is a good base to explore all parts of the island which has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast – hill walking, fishing, boat trips, kayaking, pony trekking, as well as the opportunity to discover the many craft/art galleries for a more relaxing time and to be awestruck by the dramatic scenery.
