Dunvarlich House Ref: SBBZ

Designed by William Bell circa 1899, Dunvarlich House is a superb example of Arts and Crafts movement architecture and has a Historic Scotland listing category B. The house occupies a stunning position with breathtaking views overlooking the River Tay, with its 18th-century stone bridge, glens and mountains beyond. For the outdoor enthusiast, there is access to the Southern Cairngorms from the back door. For the walking enthusiast, many Munros are easily accessible from the property, and the Cateran Trail is a short drive away. For kayakers and canoeists there is an abundance of challenging rivers to explore, and for the skier, the Glenshee ski slopes are just a couple of miles away. A great base for any type of holiday, either adventurous or for just relaxing in glorious surroundings. During the winter months the owners operate a ski school based at the Glenshee Ski Centre, with a well-equipped ski and board hire facility on site. Shop 13 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
