Find cottages in CrieffVisit Crieff

The town of Crieff is situated to the west of Perth amongst breathtaking countryside and woodland walks and has been a holiday resort since Victorian times.

Suitable for a relaxing break or family getaway, there is an abundance of top attractions from your cottage door. From a tour of the Glenturret Distillery, home to one of Scotland's favourite whiskies 'The Famous Grouse' to going face-to-face with more than 70 species of animals at Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre.

Get some historical insight at Crieff Visitor Centre, which also boasts an extensive garden and plant centre as well as a viewing area to watch the craft of glass making.

To the south of Crieff, you will find Drummond Castle Gardens which are over 500 years old and were used as the setting for the movie, 'Rob Roy'. A short drive away, Doune Castle, known as the location for the film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', was originally built in the 13th century. Famously, Queen Mary of Scots stayed there on several occasions.

There are plenty of outdoor activities locally such as golf, walking, archery, horseback riding, fly fishing, and even mushroom foraging. The renowned Crieff Golf Club is known as an excellent course and will provide a friendly reception to visitors. One of the most popular hill walks in Scotland is The Knock Climb, with excellent views over the town and surrounding area.

In town Crieff has award-winning restaurants and a good selection of good shops and by staying in the area you are free to explore Crieff's abundance of activities. Discover the heart of Scotland and look at holiday cottages in Crieff today.
