Near to the property is a bowling green and Landmark Park, Scotland’s most exciting heritage park. Further south, in Kingussie, is the Highland Wildlife Park where wolves, Siberian tigers and a host of other animals can be seen. There are many historical houses and castles in the area to visit or follow the Whisky Trail to the numerous distilleries. Also nearby is the Cairngorm Whisky Centre, which has whisky-making presentations and a tasting room with over 100 brands of whisky. Great hillwalking, bird watching, off road cycling, mountain biking, climbing and skiing can be also found in the region (Storage is available for all outdoor sports equipment and a ski rack in utility room).
