In addition, Forge Cottage (ref: W32090) has a romantic and unique circular bed with a matching circular window! Outside there is private seating, a large lawn and covered BBQ area for those long summer evenings. Just a few minutes away, 1.5 miles, is Blackhall Strand beach and the whole area is of much historical interest, as well as having a great tradition of Irish music and dancing (including the annual Phil Murphy music festival). Numerous activities include shore fishing, golf, scenic walks and drives or horse riding to name but a few. Beach 1.5 miles. Shop and pub 1.4 miles, restaurant 2.2 miles.

Waterford is 9 miles via the ferry from nearby Ballyhack, Kilkenny Castle is 37 miles and Wexford is 25 miles. Boat trips, fishing, riding, golf and scuba diving are available locally.
