These detached, single-storey holiday cottages (refs W32091 and W32092) enjoy stunning sea views, and are set in an elevated position above the seaside village of Bunmahon on the Copper Coast. This area was declared a European Geopark in 2001 and an UNESCO supported Global Geopark in 2004. This geologically diverse area contains records of Palaeozoic volcanism and the last Ice Age. There are many beautiful, secluded coves and beaches to enjoy, some suitable for surfers or divers or for exploring the islands and caves along the coast by kayak. It is approximately 11 miles to Tramore, which has many activities for all the family, an ideal beach for surfing and also has an amusement park. Visit Ireland’s oldest city, Waterford, 15 miles, and the many public gardens including Ballymoat and Littlewood (by appointment) and Bog of Fenor. The Copper Coast has evolved over 460 million years, take your time to visit and explore! Kilmacthomas Village is approximately 5 miles away. Beach 1.1 miles.
