This quaint, detached holiday cottage lies on the edge of the picturesque riverside village of Newcastle, with a backdrop of the Knockmealdown Mountains. This former village shop has retained much of its character, with the original shop door and high ceiling in the living room whilst the seating area to the front offers a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. This scenic area offers a lovely base from which to tour the surrounding area. Visit historic Cahir, 10 miles, which boasts one of Ireland’s largest and best preserved castles and is host to the annual Bru Borus Traditional Irish Festival (June to August).
