The Heritage town of Dalkey is a beautiful and vibrant place, and is just 10 miles south of Dublin city and only half an hour by DART train. This fantastic, terraced holiday property is nestled in the heart of Dalkey, surrounded by castles, restaurants, pubs, markets, a theatre, history, amazing scenery, walks and watersports. The DART train is a 2-minute walk from the house and the trains head into Dublin city, northbound or southbound to Greystones and down as far as Rosslare. The area is home to many creative artists such as writers, musicians, film directors and rock stars. There is so much to do in and around the area. Try deep sea diving, or charter a sailing boat and explore the coastline or take a kayak around Dalkey Island, where you might be lucky and spot the resident seals and bottlenose dolphins. Spend some time rock climbing in Dalkey Quarry, visit the Dalkey Castle and Heritage Centre or take a walk up on Dalkey/Killiney Hill and enjoy the view. Shop 10 yards, pub and restaurant next door.
