Garrison Waterside Hoilday Centre is situated in the most peaceful and tranquil place in Ireland. It is set in the grounds of the 14th-century Black Castle, on the banks of the River Barrow, beside one of Europe’s oldest bridges ‘The Valerian Bridge’ and right in the heart of historic Leighlinbridge. This is a family-owned and operated holiday centre - perfect for families, fishing enthusiasts, golfers, garden lovers and anyone looking for a touring base for the sunny south east. The holiday homes are fitted out to a very good standard and are secure behind a perimeter wall. Visitors have use of the children’s playground, picnic area, barbecue patio and use of a day boat to explore the River Barrow and navigational canal. There is also a cosy bar and restaurant on site, and the properties are conveniently situated between Kilkenny and Carlow. Golfing and horse racing are all nearby.

Ground floor: Living/dining room with French doors and wooden floor. Kitchen with tiled floor. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Gas central heating included (€40per week September-April). Electricity €15per week. Bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. Satellite TV. DVD. CD on request. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Garden with furniture. Shared barbecue. Parking (2 cars). NB: Fenced river in grounds.
