Seacliff is a development of delightful holiday homes nestling within the grounds of Dunmore East Golf Club which is on a headland above the ocean looking out towards Hook Head. Each of these delightful houses is attractively furnished and decorated. The living room has an open fire and patio doors lead outside to a seating area with garden furniture. They offer a peaceful and relaxed environment with the bonus of reduced green fees and access to the club house, (during the winter months the golf club opening hours are reduced, and clients can have 25% discount on normal green fees. A weekly pass can also be booked at reduced rate). A 300 yard walk down the hill brings you to a cove with golden sands and in another 200 yards you are at the pub. Dunmore East is a much sought after seaside village with pretty thatched cottages, a golden beach and a fishing harbour. There is a very popular sailing club and water sports adventure centre. The village also boasts lively pubs, restaurants, a park, tennis courts plus woodland walks, boat trips and fishing. Waterford city (12 miles) has numerous facilities including a cinema, theatre, museums, excellent shopping and the world famous crystal factory. For surfers and swimmers, the very lively resort of Tramore (10 miles) has surf schools, Splashworld, an indoor swimming complex and amusements and fun fair in the summer. Wexford can be reached by the Passage East Ferry which is a convenient way to explore the Hook Peninsula including the lighthouse and Tintern Abbey.

These detached holiday properties are located on beautiful Heir Island, in Roaring Water Bay in West Cork, and are perfect for those seeking a unique holiday experience. The Old Barn (ref W31991) is a fantastic barn conversion sleeping a maximum of 4 people, and Timmy’s Cottage (ref W32124) was named after the owner’s grandfather and sleeps a maximum of 8 people. Your unique holiday experience begins with setting aside the car on the mainland (free parking) and taking the four-minute ferry crossing to the island. From here you can explore the island on foot or on bicycle. There is a grocery delivery service available, by prior arrangement, 3 times a week. There is a sandy beach, a sailing school, a bakery and bread school, and resident artists’ studios. There is no pub but there is a restaurant that’s widely known. There are fishing opportunities, boat trips to other islands or a pizza and pint evening in Baltimore. With ferries running every two hours from 8am until 6pm (sometimes later in summer), you can experience the delights of the mainland. Skibbereen is 8 miles.
