Shared outdoor swimming pool

Ideally located in the centre of the popular little seaside resort of La Tranche-sur-Mer and 50m from the long, sandy beach, the Résidence de L’Océan has a heated outdoor swimming pool (11m x 6m, 1.1m to 1.8m) overlooking the bay, and apartments ref W15120 and W15123 have a sea view.

Built in 1880, it now offers modern day comfort whilst retaining its original architectural charm. Each apartment is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable time in the Vendée, one of the sunniest areas in France.

Within 50m are shops, numerous cafés, bars and restaurants and there is a weekly market year-round which attracts locals and tourists alike. Hire a bike to make the most of the cycle paths and to explore the other villages; there are also boat trips from here to La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré, the island on the opposite side of the bay. Accommodation is allocated on arrival and will have either bathrooms or shower rooms therefore the room/floor layout may vary, and most apartments have a terrace or balcony,
