The historical wine capital of Languedoc, Beziers, was already a thriving city when the Romans arrived in 35BC. Wander around the delightful town of Narbonne, its religious architecture, museums, the charm of the river banks of the Robine, and its shaded boulevards all contribute to its appeal to visitors.
