The property is situated at the gateway to the superb landscapes around the Gorges of the Ardèche making it an ideal base for discovering the Côtes du Rhône wine route and the famous caves of St-Marcel, La Madeleine and the abyss of Orgnac. A little further afield is the Château du Bosque, Mont Ventoux, the Pont du Gard and the valley of the river Cèze. For those who enjoy cultural pursuits the ancient of town of Uzès with its historic buildings and the pretty town of Orange famous for its Roman theatre are also worth a visit.

For sports enthusiasts there is canoeing at the river beach near the house, a tennis court (200m), and a golf course (35km).
