Views of Luberon mountains

Vaucluse

Peacefully nestled on the outskirts of Ménerbes, this charming single storey villa situated in between Ménerbes (5km) and Bonnieux (8km) represents a perfect touring base to explore the Luberon Park area, with the beautiful hilltop villages of this part of Provence.

The asset of this holiday property is the large grounds with stunning and unspoilt views over endless acres of oaks and olive groves, and also its covered shaded terrace where it is pleasant to laze or dine al fresco. Ménerbes provides excellent restaurants, or go up to Bonnieux for its restaurants with splendid views over Lacoste. Lourmarin, 28km, is so chic with its boutiques, art galleries and gourmet restaurants, it offers numerous painting exhibitions in its castle. Fantastic medieval hilltop village of Gordes is so close.

Avignon, the Papal City, so rich in history 39km away is an alternative to the elegant city of Aix-en-Provence (75km), with its beautiful architecture and fountains. Weekly local produce are nearby, such as the one at Coustoulet on Sunday morning or the bustling market at Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, or on a Wednesday morning at St. Rémy-de-Provence.
