The spacious garden, shared with the owners, offers open views across the local countryside which is popular both for walking and cycling. Nearby cliffs provide opportunities for climbing, while the forest of Mortain is just 4km.

A little further is the medieval town of Domfort, 24km. Behind the ancient walls of the old town, narrow, cobbled streets of half-timbered houses lead to welcoming cafés and open squares. The château of Fougères, which dates from the same era, is just 40km. Mont St Michel is less than an hours drive (50km).
