Relax in the pretty garden in the peace of this rural location, only a short drive from the landing beaches, including Omaha with its golf course. 10km away you will find the fishing harbour of Grandcamp Maisy with great seafood restaurants. Visit historic Bayeux and the tapestry or Caen, great for shopping and the castle of William the Conqueror. 25km away is the large forest of Cerisy with its medieval abbey. From October to April experience life on a French farm and eat with the family (small charge made). 50km away is Little Switzerland with its cliffs, a great place for climbing and parascending.
