Close by is the town of Deauville which offers a good variety of water sports as well as regular horse racing fixtures. For those who like to gamble for a bit of fun, there is also a casino in town; during the day, don’t miss strolling along the famous promenade Les Planches.

A visit to the ‘picture postcard’ fishing port of Honfleur, known as a centre for artists, is also highly recommended.

The holiday residence of Résidence Club MMV Le Domaine de la Corniche is situated near the pretty resort towns of Houlgate and Cabourg. These holiday apartments and houses come with their own terrace, and on site is a large, shared, outdoor, partly-covered heated swimming pool (12m x 7m, depth 0.25m to 1.5m), open mid-April to end October (depending upon weather conditions).

There is also shared use of the grounds with a children’s playground. For a day out, the cosmopolitan town of Deauville named ’The Cannes of the North’, is only 10km away with sandy beaches, boutique shops, seafood restaurants and annual film festival. Also nearby is the stunning harbour town of Honfleur, a fishing port rich in history and traditional wooden architecture, with restaurants, shops and art galleries.

Le Domaine de la Corniche is also ideally placed to visit the Normandy D Day landing beaches which stretch from the ferry port of Caen-Ouistreham to the artificial harbour of Arromanches built by the allies on D Day. Ground, first or second floor apartments, floor level allocated on arrival.
