The open fire in the lounge helps to create a cosy atmoshphere. Sitauted at the heart of the Suisse Normande region, it is ideal for holidays enjoying the countryside and outdoor sports. Canoeing and climbing are available locally and there is a golf course just 10km away.

Visit the nearby city of Caen, just 20km away, with its castle, beautiful men’s abbey, many museums, including Musee des Beaux-Arts de Caen, and memorial. For day trips further afield, guests will love Cabourg (31km), Lisieux (37km) and Saint-Lô (91km).

Located in the heart of the historical Caen with all facilities nearby. Its a great place for walking and resting. Visit William the Conquerors castle and abbeys as well as the Peace Museum. Pegasus Bridge, where the first British Commando landed the day before D-Day is also worth a visit.

The landing beaches and Sword Beach are only 15km away, historical Bayeux with its cathedral and worldwide known tapestry retaining William the Conquerors Odyssie in the 11th century is 24km away, while his birth place, Falaise is 35km. At the same distance is the chic resort of Deaville, home of the movie stars, with palaces, hotels, horse racing, casino, chic shopping. Across the bridge the fishing harbour of Trouville, with plenty of seafood restaurants along the pier.

Immerse yourself in the history of WWII by visiting the D-Day landing beaches, Memorial de Caen or the British War Cemetery in Bayeux. 18km from Saint-Lô.
