This charming holiday cottage was built in the early 19th century, and has been carefully restored to retain many of its original features, exposed beams, and a large, open, stone fireplace. It stands in the grounds of the friendly owner’s home with its own private terrace and garden. There are bicycles available for guests to use. This is a wine-producing region, and many vineyards offers visits and tastings. An ideal location for exploring the Loire Valley, the château of Cheverny, Chambord, and Blois, with its old quarter, museum, and fine restaurants well-worth visiting. For golf lovers, the 18-hole golf course at Cheverny is only 20km.

This spacious holiday property is a pleasant detached house, with a lawned garden and is situated on the edge of a small town. There is easy access to beautiful Lake Guerlédan where you can enjoy fishing as well as a variety of watersports. Mûr-de-Bretagne is a pretty market town surrounded by forests and lakes and home to the historic Bon Repos Abbey, which is a beautiful restored monument where art exhibitions are held. This an ideal base for discovering the many treasures of the Argoat region of Brittany.

Interesting places to visit include the town of Quintin (31km), famous for its former weaving industry and châteaux, the picturesque, medieval town of Moncontour (42km), and the large riverside town of Pontivy (25km) which is well worth a visit for its historic monuments, extensive range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. A little further afield is Vannes (68km), a harbour town renowned for its medieval streets and aquariam.

Other activities in the area include fishing in the lake (800m), a public swimming pool (15km) and a golf course (45km).
