This charming holiday village is set within the well maintained grounds of a château, and enjoys a shared indoor heated swimming pool (available all year), a very large, shared outdoor swimming pool (open May-Oct), and a shared toddler’s pool (also open May-Oct). Perfect for a relaxing holiday lazing by the pool, or for touring the area. It is ideally located between the historical sun drenched towns of Carcassonne (34km), and Béziers (50km), with the Canal du Midi passing close by, and only a short drive to the charming town of Narbonne (33km), and the endless miles of golden sandy beaches (50km).

Visit the medieval fortified city of Carcassonne and be transported back to the Middle Ages, with its drawbridges, castellated walls and towers. This is a must visit, you can visit on foot, by train or in an open carriage. Béziers is the wine capital of Languedoc and was already a thriving town when the Romans arrived in 35BC. Day excursions also include the lovely seaside resorts of Gruissan, the stunning capital of Languedoc, Montpellier or the Catalan town of Perpignan. Then return to enjoy a dip in the pool and a glass of the local wine whilst enjoying a meal al-fresco. These are ground or first floor apartments with a terrace or small garden, accommodation allocated on arrival.

Ideal touring base

These terraced holiday properties are situated on a complex and all have air conditioning and their own outdoor swimming pools (except ref FLH152 which has a hot tub). The complex is located in the town of Castries which has a 17th-century aqueduct. The city of Montpellier is just 16km and has many attractions, including the Place de la Comédie, a botanical garden, 14th-century cathedral, zoo, aquarium and Amazonian greenhouse.

The popular seaside resort of La Grande-Motte is 32km away, with its beaches, port, water park and watersports.

Spend the day in Nîmes, 47km, with its Roman history. Attractions here include a Roman amphitheatre, a Roman temple and the Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct.
