This little holiday house enjoys a countryside setting at the edge of woodland and is just 3km from the Gorges de l’Ardèche. The garden is full of flowers and has some shaded areas where you can sit away from the heat of the day. The private swimming pool (50m², open mid April-October) is sometimes used by the owner who lives on site.

Bagnols-sur-Cèze, 21km, which lies on the edge of Provence and was built in the 13th century, will charm you with its quiet old streets, but comes alive each Wednesday as stallholders set up to sell their wares around the market square.

Or take a trip to Orange 32km away with its two monuments classified as World Heritage sites.
