The region’s major roads are close by which provide quick and easy access to other places of interest, Périgueux, Montignac, Lascaux and Les Eyzies are all with easy driving distance, as is Terrasson which has a very popular weekly market.

Built on two levels, with a large swimming pool (50m² open mid June - mid Sept), summer kitchen, covered terrace and pretty shaded garden, and in a pleasant location. Situated close to beaches, caves and museums, or you can walk or take a bike ride across the sunflower fields.

There are stunning castles to see in the Dordogne valley but also numerous markets to discover, one of which can be found at Sarlat. The abbey at Chancelade is well worth a visit with its bell tower, and various buildings dating from the middle ages. In the church itself you can see 13th century frescoes and a vaulted ceiling.

These holiday cottages are part of a barn conversion comprising of four individual units, located on the outskirts of the village of Lauzun.

The complex has sports facilities including 2 swimming pools (8m x 4m, depth 0.8-2m), table tennis and a communal courtyard area with barbecue and dining facilities, although the cottages have their own terrace area, providing an ideal mix between meeting with fellow guests and your own privacy.

Lauzun is approximately 0.6 miles (1km) with many restaurants and shopping facilities. Activities available locally include tennis, horse riding and fishing, and there are excellent cycle paths nearby.

Less than 30 minutes’ drive north of Périgueux, near the charming town of Thiviers, this is a very peaceful place set in a village within easy reach of many activities and interesting sites.
