In peaceful countryside

This completely restored folly in the style of a small castle is in a quiet hamlet in lovely, peaceful countryside.

The interior is very attractive; a blend of castle and cosy cottage! The garden is well maintained, with a sheltered corner for barbecues. Locally there are many pretty villages and rivers, including the Nantes-Brest Waterway, excellent for fishing, cycling or walking.

The superb beach of Val-andré is within easy reach to the north, while to the south are the historic towns of Pontivy and Josselin. The picturesque Lake Guerlédan is about 25km away, with excellent watersports facilities and a swimming beach.

Just 15km away is Pont-Aven, a haunt of artists throughout the ages. This elegant town boasts an array of museums, galleries and restaurants. Also close by is Concarneau – a 14th-century town built on an island, its lichen-covered ramparts, narrow streets and restaurants are well worth visiting.
