The cottage has electric heating and two woodburners in the main living area which make it suitable for early and late season holidays. The private swimming pool is heated and is available May to October.

This part of the Dordogne is one of the most sought after locations; the medieval town of Sarlat, the châteaux of Beynac and Castelnaud, and many of the attractions of the Dordogne Valley are all within 30km. One of the region’s most popular golf courses is a short drive, approximately 2km away.

The remains of the castle dominate the restored medieval village, in the centre of which you will find a café, a restaurant, a bakers, a post office,a tobacconists and a grocers. There are lovely picnic areas and numerous walking paths through lovely fragrant scrublands.

Visit the nearby city of Avignon (26km) and enjoy the Palais des Papes, the Parc des Rochers des Domes with its fantasic views and the Pont St. Bénezet, built over the River Rhône. For day trips further afield, visit Arles (82km), Montélimar (78km) or Montpellier (103km).
