There are walks to suit everyone with riverside strolls, the Flintergill Nature Trail, and strenuous climbs up the dale side. The Three Peaks and Lake District are also easily accessible.

Each cottage overlooks a private rock garden with the facility of a fully enclosed south facing garden, complete with fruit trees, barbecue and a charming arbour bench! There is also a games room with pool table, darts and board games.
Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Roof Stones overlooks Wensleydale fells, moors, the River Ure and the unspoilt countryside between. Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Hawes, only a 5 minute walk,  with its county-renowned deli, the famous Wensleydale Creamery, Ropemakers Centre, restaurants, five pubs, tea rooms, bistro, clothes shops and lovely gift shops. For adventurous guests there are two complimentary fishing passes for the River Ure - just a short walk over the adjacent field. And there are local walks a-plenty! (maps provided).
