The area is perfect for horse riders or cyclists to ride straight out with miles of bridleways and cycle routes to explore in and around the North York Moors and an excellent area for bird watching.
For those who enjoy fine dining, The Anvil is the nearest restaurant, located in the village of Sawdon serving an excellent menu and hearty Sunday roasts (booking in advance is essential).
