A 5-minute walk leads to Whitby’s amenities including a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, famous fish and chip shops and 3 miles of golden sandy beach. There are also several restaurants that have won many awards for excellent cuisine. Whitby hosts many events and festivals throughout the year including Sixties weekends, Soul weekends, Goth weekends and many more, making Whitby a very popular place to visit.
