Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park
This period house dates back to 1860 and is set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, as such it has outstanding views across the valley to the hills beyond. This holiday property provides well-proportioned accommodation which is ideal for a family get-together or for celebrating with friends. There are many, varied walks direct from the door and the terrain is ideal for bikes, both on and off road. The bustling market town of Richmond is a 30-minute drive and boasts an 11th-century castle, Georgian theatre and a wide variety of country shops and inns. Alternatively, take a trip to Tennants Saleroom at Leyburn – the largest auction house outside of London. There is an excellent pub serving good food within 550 yards and the village of Reeth, which is 3 miles, has a small selection of shops. However, one of the best things to do is enjoy the house and if the weather allows, sit outside with a drink and enjoy the stunning view. Shop 3 miles, pub serving food 550 yards.
