It is perfect for walking and cycling, and the owners can offer a storage area for your bicycles upon request. The James Herriot fans amongst you can seek out ’Darrowby’ as you explore the streets of Askrigg. Aysgarth Falls are just a short distance away, or you may wish to discover Burton Force water fall in the picturesque village of West Burton. For historians the magnificent Bolton Castle where Mary Queen of Scotts was imprisoned for six months is just along the dale.
