Hunter’s Moon Ref: NA3

Enjoying an elevated position with panoramic views over rural Worcestershire, this detached 18th-century former stable block enjoys its own enclosed lawned gardens with an open outlook across fields, making a very peaceful and relaxing holiday retreat. Set in the grounds of the owner’s working mixed farm, it has been carefully converted, retaining a wealth of exposed beams, and provides very spacious and comfortable accommodation ideal for family reunions or get-togethers.

The area offers some beautiful scenery for walking, riding or cycling, with Clee Hill, the Bromyard Downs and the Wyre Forest all easily reached, while Offa’s Dyke and the Stretton Hills are within 40 minutes’ drive. There are many places of interest to visit. Just 4½ miles away, the market town of Tenbury Wells, beside the River Teme, has a good choice of pubs, restaurants and shops. Nearby Ludlow (12 miles) is one of England’s best preserved medieval and Georgian towns, boasting a Norman castle and an array of timber-framed buildings crowding into narrow streets, as well as some fine Georgian architecture. There are antique shops to explore and riverside walks as well as many fine restaurants boasting Michelin Stars.

Within easy driving distance are the Severn Valley Railway, the West Midland Safari and Leisure Park at Bewdley and several historic buildings, including Witley Court (English Heritage), Berrington Hall and Croft Castle (NT). Worcester (12 miles) has a splendid cathedral, china museum, a racecourse and excellent shopping facilities. Tennis, golf and fishing within 5 miles. Shops 4½ miles, pubs 1½ miles.
