Couples can enjoy use of the large indoor heated pool, and there is a public footpath adjacent to the property providing access to excellent walking trails in the local area and beyond. Nearby Bishops Waltham is a popular medieval town, and has interesting historic sights such as the 12th-century palace ruins and Roman church, as well as local shops, pubs, restaurants and coffee houses. Cornhill Hall Lodge is ideally located for many sightseeing areas. It is within easy reach of the historic cathedral city of Winchester, and also near to Southampton and Portsmouth. Chichester, The Watercress Steam Railway, Jane Austen’s House, The New Forest, Marwell Zoo and Poultons Park are also within easy driving distance. It is less than a 30-minute drive to the nearest coast and the local area hosts a number of golf courses. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
