Find cottages in YeovilVisit Yeovil

The town of Yeovil sits close to the Dorset border in south Somerset. A bustling and vibrant market town with a mixture of traditional and modern shopping areas and plenty of local entertainment for families and adults alike.

The town centre is a popular shopping destination with an outdoor market two days a week and a monthly farmers' market that brings in crowds from all around. There is a good mix of boutique shops, arts, crafts and pottery shops as well as more modern high-street retail outlets, offering all the local provisions and facilities you'll need during your stay.

A great selection of pubs and restaurants will keep you busy in the evenings and the town has two theatres that hold everything from live music and stand-up comedy shows, to touring plays and ballet performances.

Yeovil Country Park offers the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and open green spaces on offer in Yeovil and there is also a swimming pool, a dry ski slope and a well-regarded golf club nearby if you fancy burning off a few calories.

A charming location filled with pretty buildings and flowery gardens, Yeovil is quite the picturesque English town. It's a good base from which to explore south Somerset and west Dorset; for accommodation see our selection of holiday cottages in Yeovil.
