Find cottages in PorlockVisit Porlock

At the foot of Porlock Hill lies the pretty village of Porlock, surrounded by the magnificent Exmoor National Park on three sides and situated on the Somerset coast with wonderful views out over the Bristol Channel.

In this traditional Exmoor village you'll find a mixture of quaint tearooms, cosy pubs and good restaurants. Visit Greencome Gardens with views over lovely Porlock Bay and Porlock Weir a couple of miles out of the village; a charming little harbour. The children will enjoy the Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre for a day of falconry displays and the owl show; you'll even find donkey and alpaca treks on offer!

If you enjoy the great outdoors you'll feel right at home; the walking and cycling trails here are unsurpassed; and local bike hire is available. As you explore the region you'll discover many picturesque National Trust villages, tea gardens and cosy pubs; it really is the perfect antidote to stressful, modern day life!

Apart for exploration you could try your hand at spot of sea fishing or lake fishing. Golfers will also be spoilt for choice with a number of golf courses just a short drive away.

Come see all that Exmoor has to offer for yourself - start your search for holiday cottages in Porlock today.
