Cottages at Wolfscote Grange are situated on the edge of the Dove Valley in a beautiful landscape of hills and dales they stretch down the valley. The pretty village of Hartington is two miles away with its cheese shop country pubs and restaurants/ cream tea shops. The farmstead itself has a wealth of history the farm house and surrounding courtyard buildings dating back to the 15th century and the farm  having a mention in the doomsday book. The cottages are set on Joe and Janes  family farm where sheep and cattle are looked after balancing farming practices and wildlife conservation there is an abundance of wildlife with a farm trail and excellent walking routes from the cottage doors  Wolfscote Cottage is unique in the fact that it sits alone with no neighbours than the other cottages namely Swallows Tomboys and Cruck Cottage are in their own courtyard with private patio areas.
