Youlgreave itself is an interesting village set between the sparkling waters of the rivers Lathkill and Bradford and surrounded by the stunning scenery of the ‘White Peak’.   Lanes and paths branch out in every direction, perfect for both short walks and longer rambles.  Situated midway between Bakewell and Matlock, it is one of the larger villages in the Peak District with narrow streets and an impressive church.  Downstream is the picturesque hamlet of Alport with its stone packhorse bridge and millponds.   The historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are both only a few miles away.

Superb views

These 4 quality and characterful barn conversions are set in striking ’White Peak’ scenery and each enjoys one of the most breathtaking views in the Peak Park, across to the jagged and dramatic Chrome and Parkhouse hills. There are some lovely walks to be enjoyed in the area. The pretty market towns of Buxton, 4 miles, and Bakewell, 12 miles, and the village of Hartington, 5 miles, are an easy drive from the properties.
