Guyzance dates back to 1242 and is a small hamlet located south east of Alnwick on the River Coquet amidst picturesque open countryside, yet close to all the main visitor attractions in the county. Warkworth is only 3 miles away with its hillside castle, charming small shops, pubs and river walks, while Amble, 5 miles, is a very friendly fishing port with a bustling working harbour and a new marina. Boat trips can be taken to the nearby RSPB reserve at Coquet Island.
