Located in the north west corner of the Norfolk Broads National Park, Wroxham is a bustling village on the banks of the River Bure and conveniently placed for days out on the waterways.

This riverside destination is perfect for anyone looking to stay in a village with a rich heritage and those who enjoy outdoor pursuits in the Norfolk Broads. It's also the ideal location for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

There's plenty going on in and around Wroxham. Wroxham Riverside Park is a fantastic place to relax, feed the ducks and enjoy a picnic, or follow the path under the railway viaduct and watch the boats sailing down the river.

Historically, the Church of St Mary was the centre of the village, this 12th Century building stands atop a steep slope overlooking River Bure. In the churchyard you will find the Trafford Mausoleum, built in medieval style in 1831. The church of St Peter is another famous Wroxham landmark and this exceptionally pretty chapel, built in 1624, is home to a fine selection of 18th and 19th Century hatchments (Heraldic coats of arms). Just around the corner from the church you'll find Hoveton Hall Gardens, where formal and informal landscapes cover 15 acres and offer a feast for the eyes.

If you enjoy walking, cycling or boating, Wroxham offers an abundance of opportunities. You can hire one of the many boats and explore the rivers, or cycle or walk around the village and along the river banks.

Located within the Norfolk Broads National Park, Wroxham offers easy access to the stunning woodlands and waterways that contribute to making the area so attractive. You'll discover the beauty of the Norfolk Broads when you search for cottages in Wroxham.
