Ideal location to explore the Broads and coast
This link-detached holiday cottage is situated in a small development, located within 220 yards of the water at Stalham Staithe, just off the River Ant at the northern end of the Broads. Find a pretty picnic area or hire a boat from the boatyard, a great way to explore the beauty of the Broads. The market town of Stalham is close by, with its shops, pubs and restaurants. Wroxham, the capital of The Broads, and Horning, a picturesque village with vintage paddle steamer and pubs with gardens on the riverside, are both close to the property. The coast is just 4 miles away, with its lovely sandy beaches, NT Horsey Windpump and Horsey Beach. Visit between December and February to see the grey seal colony and their pups. For the children, spend a day out at BeWILDerwood, an outdoor adventure park. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, with its array of cafes, shops, museums, cathedral and theatres.
