Positioned alongside well-established coarse fishing lakes in a peaceful, rural location, these three detached lodges (refs 29727, 29728 and 29729) provide superb holiday accommodation. The properties are just 2 miles from Burgh le Marsh and only 5 miles from the seaside resort of Skegness with its excellent sandy beaches, fun fair, amusements, theatre, a seal sanctuary and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. These superb barn conversions (refs RDDE, RDDF and RDDG)are fully equipped to a high standard and set only 6 miles from Grantham, the A1 and main line to London, providing an excellent base to relax in and explore this area of Lincolnshire. There is plenty to see and do such as a visit to the National Trust at Belton House, also the home of Belton Horse Trials. Burghley International Horse Trials are also close by. There are excellent golf courses throughout the area with Belton Park less than 2 miles away. Lincolnshire is known as Bomber County and RAF Cranwell is about a 15-minute drive. There are several good restaurants and pubs close by with the well known Brownlow Arms just 2 miles’ walk or drive. Set in 4 acres of grounds which includes a maturing woodland area with mowed walkways, wild flower meadows, wildlife ponds and a variety of seating areas from which to enjoy the outstanding views. The owners have erected several bird and bat boxes around the grounds to encourage conservation and attract wildlife such as barn owls, tawny owls, kestrel and other species. Greetham Retreat recently saw its first kestrel fledglings in one of the newly erected boxes.
