"The Forge was a beautiful, comfortable cottage. The was extremely well equipped. The owners supplied most things you would expect from a good hotel, eg. plenty of thick fluffy towels, a welcome basket of food, lots of lovely magazines and information about the local area and so much more. We were receive a personal welcome from the owner and she invited us to called a her home at any time if we had a problem. There was no pressure to leave the cottage by 10am. Again we were given a very friendly farewell. The owner were very friendly and helpful but never intrusive despite of living next door. I would strongly recommend The Forge for a comfortable get away from it all. Oct 2012."
