For the more adventurous, Warton Crag, 8 miles, provides opportunities for hiking, climbing and abseiling. Warton is also home to Leighton Hall, a historic house with pretty gardens, children’s play area, maze and tea rooms. It hosts various events throughout the year, such as an outdoor theatre and car rallys. Other activities available locally include cycling, fishing, horse riding and golf.
