The farm stead, from which the cottages have been formed, was built in 1890 and its position was chosen at a time when the popularity of the Lake District was just beginning to rise in wealthy Victorian circles. Prospect Lodge resides on the spectacularly situated Limefitt Park in one of the Lake District’s most beautiful valleys.  The valley sides climb steeply to the surrounding peaks, such as High Street and Froswick providing breathtaking scenery.
The lodge is situated in a tranquil location with direct access on to the Lakeland Fells with an abundance of walks and wildlife and although it is only 3 miles from Windermere it retains the feeling of remoteness.  On site facilities are open from April - October and include a small supermarket, The Haybarn Inn, (a traditional Lakeland pub serving meals, including breakfast, a selection of fine ales and a beer garden) a games room, adventure playground and launderette.
Nearby leisure activities include pony trekking, cycle hire, golf, fishing and a host of water sports.   A truly wonderful location from which to enjoy a fabulous activity packed holiday.

Ground Floor: Heated by gas central heating the accommodation comprises:

Lounge area:  With comfortable leather seating, feature electric fire, colour TV and DVD player.
Breakfast kitchen:  With gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
French doors from the dining area lead out on to the decked balcony.
Master bedroom:  With kingsize bed and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, W.C and hand basin.
Bedroom 2:  With twin beds.
Bedroom 3:  With twin beds.
Bathroom:  With shower over bath, handbasin, W.C and heated towel rail.

All gas, electric and bed linen provided.  Travel cot available. One well behaved pet welcome. Free Wifi avaialable on the park.The lodge is surrounded by decking with patio furniture. Private parking for 1 car.
