These cosy bungalows are situated in a designated AONB with breathtaking views. Dean Steep comprises of twelve holiday bungalows, three of which are featured here (refs 19958, 19959 and 27891). They are beautifully located on the edge of Exmoor National Park amidst 17 acres of magnificent stunning scenery, with heather topped hills, sweeping combes, spectacular cliffs, tumbling waterfalls and rivers in deep wooded valleys where wildlife abounds. They are also close to the sea in a beautiful area of North Devon, a photographer’s paradise. With its high cliffs and hills for walking, the area has much to offer. For walkers there is the South West Coastal Path (which passes close to the picturesque twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth) and the wonderful wilderness of Exmoor with its diverse wildlife. The Tarka Trail is ideal for cycling. Exmoor is also ideal for fishing and horse riding, or why not take a ride on the unique cliff railway from where you can enjoy the spectacular views. A visit the enchanting medieval Dunster Castle (NT), with its beautiful terraced gardens, Deer Park and Mill will make for an interesting day out. There is surfing at Lynmouth or beyond to Croyde and Woolacombe, and golf at Minehead or the fine course at Saunton for a true test. Horse riding is available for all abilities and entertainment for both children and adults at Lynch Farm and Tropicaria further on. There are also glorious walks, of course, to hidden treasures such as Culbone Church, Butlins at Minehead or Dunster Castle if activities such as outdoor meals, table tennis, croquet and messing about with balls at West Lynch does not suffice.
