Victoria Lodge Ref: HSSX

Victoria Lodge is a very Victorian house indeed! Located close to the heart of the clifftop town of Lynton, this holiday home retains the ambience and appearance of how it might have been in the Victorian era. From the sumptuously furnished and decorated bedrooms to the picture collection, this adjoining house offers something very different, and is an ideal destination to spend a holiday or to celebrate a special occasion. Despite its very Victorian appearance, the house is very much geared to modern day requirements, with all the bedrooms having en-suite facilities and televisions. There is a good-sized shared terraced garden at the rear to enjoy the surroundings and guests can enjoy the popular walks to Watersmeet and Valley of the Rocks which can start directly from the door. It is also a short walk to the heart of Lynton, which has a good range of shops, restaurants and amenities. Lynton is connected to its close seaside neighbour Lynmouth by the famous clifftop railway. There are numerous attractions within easy reach of the house including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle. A day out into West Somerset is recommended with places such as Porlock Weir, Dunster with its castle (NT) and the seaside town of Minehead, home to the West Somerset Stream Railway.
